*this isn't an ad for any company, read only if you are sensible Was reading a news article about this and really felt disappointed Every year around 25% female students quit school being embarrassed with blood stained clothes cause the cant afford pads. 85% of the girls in India still don't have access to sanitary napkins and out of this some also believe getting a PERIOD is a disease because of how the society treats them In India there are millions of women and girls who use insanitary methods during PERIODS because they can't afford sanitary napkins. And now the cherry on top "GST" got applicable on this In India right now we pay 12% GST to buy sanitary pads Being hygienic should be a compulsion, and these are some basic things that our system should look at and provide us with When we can have 0% GST on bangles, bindis, sindoor and condoms (how is this even a necessity We can survive life without these also) then why not on sanitary napkins ? A sanitary pad is a basic necessity of every women. Every year, every month,we bleed And we need sanitary pads every bloody time. Today our system has forgotten that sanitary napkin is a necessity by imposing 12% GST on it, they have forgotten that women exist. Why are we still denied of our right? Yes it's that time of the month for me It's the ...

day 23: have a plastic free period _____ the average woman will use around 16,000 or more tampons or pads in her lifetime. that's 7 billion tampons and pads in our waterways or landfills each year! most of them containing chemicals, additives and... plastic! _____ if you like the convenience of traditional tampons and pads look for those that are plastic-free and made from natural, organic materials. and if you're ready to avoid single use all together try a menstrual cup (like these by @lunettecup) and/or reusable cloth pads. i made the switch last year and wish i'd made it sooner, so easy and more convenient in my opinion! _____ 📷: @lunettecup

Gorg smoothie bowl with all frozen banana, bluebs, mango and papaya, 1 tsp maca powder, scoop of vanilla protein, dash of water and soy milk, topped with fruit, nuts and seeds 💖🌱 • • • • • • • • • • • Ok some girl talk! So it's a new moon phase today so I've started seed cycling to give it a try, as I've heard it's supposed to help regulate your period. I stopped taking the pill two and half months ago because I was done with putting unnatural hormones into my body and who knows what it was doing my body, so I want to try and get my period and regulate it. So the follicular phase (day 1 (start of your period) to day 14, or until ovulation) is when you have 1 tablespoon each of flaxseeds and pumpkin seeds daily. And then in the luteal phase (from about day 15 to 28, or until menses (your period) is when you take 1 tablespoon each of sunflower and sesame seeds daily. The different seeds are to do with balancing oestrogen and progesterone, and you are supposed to start with the new moon phase if you are already irregular! Search seed cycling if you want more info on it! I also really recommend every girl to get their hands on a book called "Taking Charge of your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. That book is the one if you are looking for a natural form of contraception. ...
Wow, this photo grabbed my attention immediately. I'm not if it was intentional or accidental but it certainly raised the point that I'm still ashamed and embarrassed of possibly having accidents when I'm due on. We shouldn't be, it's natural and there's women around the world who suffer enormously because they don't have the sanitation products we do. Young girls suffer because they are not allowed to attend school and some cultures perceive this as dirty. We need to challenge these views and help women! #empoweringwomen#female#period#periodproblems#periods#periodsbelike#periodblood#photography#mentruation#menstruation
